The BlueBoar Inn | Dining & Menus

The Blue Boar has a great reputation for food from both customers and suppliers. We serve breakfast, lunch and evening meal!

Our menus are all about proper pub food, although we do add in something a bit different to encourage new tastes and experiences.




Food Served:

Mon - Thurs noon-2.30pm & 6pm-9.30pm
Friday noon-2.30pm & 6pm-9.30pm
Saturday noon-10pm
Sunday noon-9pm

We keep the traditional favourites on the menu - although chef is constantly trying to improve on their flavour and presentation. The variety comes from our specials, where we use local produce - game in particular - to best effect. Our customers complete comments cards so we can put popular dishes on the menu or update our specials for changing tastes.

Jason has brought back the old favourites board which changes daily and is influenced by the seasons.

Please do not fill yourself up on the mains - you have to try our homemade desserts. Julia has been with us for a long time and people come from all over the area for her Banana Crunch or Chocolate torte. They have to be seen and tasted to be believed. (not recommended for the waistline!!).
